How do I receive the artwork?

All the printable tattoo designs are in a jpeg format. Once the product is purchased you will receive a confirmation email. One the order is processed you will receive a second email with the file attached. All you need to do is save this file to your computer or print it out. The second product email gives you a link to download the file this link is good for 24 hours so you will want to make sure you download as soon as you can. If you don’t get it in time just email jacob@alteregotattoodesign.com and we will get the printable tattoo design emailed to you again.

Do I need a stencil?

Our experience is that you do not need a stencil. Tattoo artists have the skill and knowledge to create this for you. That is why you are paying them to do the tattoo. If they do not have this capability you may want to rethink the artist you have chosen to tattoo your printable tattoo design.

Can you create a custom tattoo?

Yes! All we need is an email from you to jacob@alteregtattoodesign.com, or email us at our contact us link. In that email we request that you include the size, style, color, and theme you are looking for. Once we have had time to draw a printable tattoo design for you we will have you look at the image on the website if you like it you just purchase like any other art piece and we then remove it from the site so you are the only one with that drawing.

Can I resize my printable tattoo design?

All pictures are downloaded on to the system at the original size they were drawn. Most tattoo artists can make the design larger or smaller depending on the look you are going for. Just a reminder though not all designs can be overly scaled down depending on the detail of the piece.

Can I see a larger image of the printable tattoo design?

Yes you can by simply clicking on the thumbnail of the picture. The images are covered for protective purposes but you will be able to get a clear picture of your new tattoo.

How long does it take to receive my order?

The confirmation and actual order delivery via email will usually take less than 24 hours.

Is this website secure?

Yes. All monetary transactions will occur through PayPal, which is one of the most secure in the world.

What is AlterEgoTattooDesign.com’s return policy?

Electronically downloaded printable tattoo designs are non-refundable.

Do I need special paper to print the tattoo design?

No, any paper will work. Once you print out the tattoo design just take to you tattoo artist and they will handle the rest.
